About us
Our Mission
"We love and understand children. We create for them a friendly world full of colours, play and joy to help them awaken their full potential"
For over fifteen years we have been playing a growing part in the world of children. A world which is colourful, carefree and full of dreams. Thanks to this we are able to design clothes that ideally fit into their world – clothes that not only look good on children but make them feel well. Our products are well suited to every phase of child’s growth. They are comfortable and durable – to meet every expectation of children and their parents.
Children are exceptionally demanding customers. This is why we take great care in selecting fabrics features and minutely control every stage of the manufacturing process. We know that children grow very quickly indeed. Getting new clothes is not only a question of fashion, but a necessity. This is why we do everything to ensure that our collections are affordable for mums - without sacrificing quality.
Thanks to these simple principles we have built a network of colourful, fun and functional children’s apparel stores which continues to grow and grow and grow.
Company History
5-10-15 was created by Aneta Kolaszewska in 1992. Having given birth to her first child she noticed almost complete lack of the provision of coherent children’s wear. Rather than traipse through the then prevalent bazaars Aneta set out create Poland’s first specialist children’s apparel retailer.
This was doubly challenging as newly democratic Poland had little or no history of retail environment. In order to even run a shop Aneta and her team had to create product supply chain, point of sale systems, fixturing and operating methods.
As is the case today, ‘best practices’ have been applied from the outset. For example products were designed in famous Bologna couture houses and then produced in China.
Mrs. Kolaszewska was one of the first entrepreneurs to successfully implement product provision from the Middle Kingdom. In-house design team successfully producing coherent attractive collections, which was established within a couple of years, was unique in Poland.
Marketplace conditions were extremely challenging. Given lack of development capital and scarcity of commercial banks willing to work with retailers it took a few years to grow store numbers.
Provision of sites was also wanting.
“The first ‘proper’ shopping centre – M1 in Czeladz - may look crude today” adds Mrs Kolaszewska, “but it witnessed our first mall store. From that moment onwards the company concentrated solely on openings in shopping centres”. The end of this year will see us operating 150 stores.
Our growth continues unabated. New stores, both own and franchised are opening at ever growing pace and this year will witness our first foreign operation.
The company continues use best practices in everything we do. All profits are reinvested in the business and constant improvement of all facets of our operation is the norm.
We welcome you at our stores and hope to meet your expectations!
